About

Phillip Michael Parsons is a singer/songwriter with Southern Maryland roots, who in a short period of time has made waves as an up and coming artist to watch. In 2018, he was nominated for Best Country Artist and performed at the Maryland Music Awards.  This year he has performed over 200 shows in 14 states up and down the East Coast and through the Midwest as well as playing alongside artists such as Chris Janson, Chris Lane, Gavin DeGraw, Thompson Square, Craig Campbell, and Sundance Head.

His honest sound and sincere delivery connect with his followers, who Parsons refers to as “family or fam”, on a more personal level.  Parsons’ music is a genuine reflection of his real life experiences and down-to-earth personality. When not on the road, Phillip spends quite a bit of his time collaborating and writing with other artists in Nashville including Darbi Shaun and was a co-writer on Jerry Jacobs’ recent single ‘Backroads in Backseats’.  Phillip’s latest single, “Breakin’ My Own Rules” was co-written with award-winning hit songwriters Clay Mills III (“Beautiful Mess”), Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), and Mike Krompass (Smashmouth, Nelly Furtado) and produced by Krompass and Redmond, the multi-platinum production team at 1225 Entertainment. Phillip recently caught the attention of Brothers Osborne’s Adam Box, who is working with Parsons to produce his next wave of music!
